The ARA Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote education through the awarding of scholarships annually to students on the basis of academic achievement. The Automotive Recyclers Association maintains the Scholarship Foundation for the benefit of members and the professional automotive recycling industry.
The ARA Scholarship Foundation wishes to thank all of its donors this past year! Your generosity assist in providing students with funds to further their post-high school education. A list of this past year’s recipients is available in the March/April edition of Automotive Recycling magazine.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Requirements for first-time applicants:
- Be enrolled as a high school senior, and/or plan to continue or pursue a full-time post high school program in a college, university, or school providing trade, business or technical programs.
- First-time applicants must have achieved at least a 3.0 grade point average, or the equivalent, in their previous educational program. Renewal applicants must have achieved at least a 2.75 grade point average, or the equivalent, in their previous educational program.
- A parent must be a current employee of a Licensed Direct/Branch Recycler Member of ARA with a hire date at least one year prior to March 15 of the application year.
