ARA is dedicated to protecting and promoting the professional automotive recycling industry through legislative and regulatory approaches in all 50 states.  Many of the regulations and legislative trends impacting the daily operations and overall business environment facing automotive recyclers originate at the state level.  ARA Government Affairs staff tracks proposed legislation and regulations on a state-by-state basis, recognizing that each state has a unique policymaking environment, and identifies issues that have the potential to impact automotive recyclers nationwide.
