An ARA University (ARAU) representative will speak as part of an ARAU seminar at the ACT Expo (www.actexpo.com) in Long Beach, CA – on May 2, 2017. The seminar is for U.S. Department of Energy Clean Cities Coalition coordinators and the ARA University is responsible for developing materials for the coordinators to use in contacting and working with the automotive recycling audience.
The ACT Expo is the alternative fuel vehicles premier conference where all of the fuels and technologies for numerous audiences coming together.
The focus of the ARAU seminar will be based on the following: 1) the need for the training and the support from the coordinators to the local automotive recyclers; 2) specific case studies or information shared from members, including the success of selling recycled parts, apprehension in dealing with the vehicles, etc.; and 3) how to reach the automotive recyclers in their area and maybe suggestions on how best to make the approach.
Coordinators will leave the seminar with a better understanding of the professional automotive recycling industry and the important opportunity they have in connecting with their local automotive recyclers.
