Jonathan Morrow Becomes President of the Automotive Recyclers Association

Professional automotive recycler Jonathan Morrow, M&M Auto Parts in Fredericksburg, Virginia, was welcomed as the new President of the Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) this weekend at the organization’s 75th Annual Convention and Exposition in Orlando, FL. Prior to his naming as President, Morrow had served as Secretary, Second Vice President and First Vice President of ARA and will now play a leading role in helping guide and shape the Association’s initiatives and direction.

“I am honored to represent my fellow auto recyclers and continue the work of ARA Presidents before me,” said Morrow, in his first remarks as ARA President. M&M Auto Parts has been in business since 1960 and members of ARA since 1979. Morrow grew up attending ARA Annual Conventions with his parents, an experience which greatly impacted his appreciation for the relationships built through ARA.

“Our ARA membership has shaped our business’s commitment to the environment as a CAR and Gold Seal certified facility, to our employees to provide a safe, clean, and caring place to work, and to advance our commitment to professional recycling practices,” said Morrow. “Being close to Washington, DC, we have opened our facility to visits from legislators to help decisionmakers at all levels better understand the importance of recycled parts utilization. I embrace the importance of the work of the ARA from all levels and want to help make a difference for the next generation.”

“It will be a pleasure working with Jonathan during his tenure as ARA President,” said ARA Executive Director Sandy Blalock. “I have known the Morrow family for a long time and know that his experience in the industry will be a great value to ARA.”

Morrow brings a wealth of experience from his time as President of the Virginia Automotive Recyclers Association, a position that he held from 2012-2014. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Liberty University and is currently Inventory Manager at M&M.
